HEALING THROUGH HIKING

I created these walks in nature for women who have experienced or are struggling with narcissistic abuse because I know how isolating and overwhelming the healing journey can feel. Having been in a four-year relationship with a narcissist myself, I deeply understand the challenges, the self-doubt, and the journey it takes to reclaim your sense of self after years of self-neglect and emotional abuse.

What is Healing Through Hiking?

I started Healing Through Hiking as a support group for women who experienced or are struggling with Narcissistic Abusive Relationships. When I was going through such relationship myself I craved so much for a place to feel safe and have someone to talk to that could understand me without judging or telling me “why don’t you just leave”.

I wanted to create this for other women going through the same experience to make them feel supported and fear. A space for you to reconnect to yourself, nature and others without fears of consequences.

A space for you to be, breathe and reconnect to your truest self.

Sometimes, the most powerful form of healing comes from the simplicity of being outdoors, surrounded by nature and like-minded women who truly understand. That’s why I’ve created Healing Through Hiking - a monthly, free walk in the stunning Peak District, designed to help you connect with yourself, others, and the healing power of nature.

A Safe Space for Women to Heal

These walks are more than just a hike—they’re an opportunity to find stillness, share your journey, and support one another. Whether you’re healing from the wounds of narcissistic abuse or just looking for a peaceful space to recharge, these hikes provide a nurturing environment where you can feel safe and supported.

What to Expect

  • A Supportive Community: These walks are for women who understand what you’ve gone through or are currently experiencing. You’ll be walking alongside others who share similar stories, offering empathy, support, and encouragement.

  • Nature’s Healing Power: Nature has an incredible ability to soothe the soul and bring clarity. Walking in the fresh air and beautiful landscapes allows you to find stillness, regain your sense of self, and reconnect with your heart.

  • A Gentle, Empowering Experience: While the walk is gentle and beginner-friendly, the true focus is on connecting with yourself and others. It’s a safe, non-judgmental space to be vulnerable, share, and begin the process of healing.

  • An Invitation to Breathe: The simplicity of walking in nature allows you to be present, without the pressures of daily life. It’s a time to slow down, listen to your body, and find inner peace.
